Alanis Morissette got to cover one of her "favourite people and voices of all time" for her Christmas EP.
Wham!'s much-loved holiday classic, 'Last Christmas', is getting a new spin courtesy of the 'Queen of Alt-Rock Angst', Alanis Morissette.
Alanis performed a cover of the 1984 song during a recent appearance on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon'.
The alternative rock singer released a Christmas EP in November. The EP is called 'Last Christmas', and naturally includes one of the biggest holiday songs in history.
"Holiday time slowly emerging…. I covered one of my favorite people and voices of all time… George Michael. This holiday WHAM! song was a big part of my childhood. #lastchristmas an EP with my holiday songs is available digitally everywhere," Alanis wrote in November.
