True humanity shone through in this 2017 story
Updated | By East Coast Breakfast
This was one story that showed the care and courage that strangers had for nine individuals who were in desperate need of help.
2017 was a year which had a lot of surprises - some were good and some were just unexpected. But there was one story that inspired many on social media to show love and goodness to those who need it the most.
A family and three swimmers in Florida almost drowned after they got swept away by a strong current which pulled them into the ocean - a terrifying feeling that no one should ever have to experience. However, it was the quick-thing of Jessica Mae who noticed what was happening and called for help.
