It was the robbery at this popular nightclub that shocked Durbanites after seeing what went down right before their eyes.
Hijackings and robberies - I have seen many videos of them in 2017 but the one that stood out for me was when Origin Nightclub was robbed and the footage went viral.
The popular nightclub was robbed during mid-November when staff were held at gunpoint in the cash-drop room. The footage shows the staff cashing up at the end of a night when all of a sudden two men walk in with guns demanding cash.

Luckily no one was hurt during the incident but if you've ever been in a robbery you would know that it is a terrifying thing to experience.
I managed to make contact with the nightclub owner after their ordeal. During his chat with me, he gave an account of what they experienced and also took time to thank his staff for being brave.
