News of gangsters passing tend to trend for a very long time, and this situation was no different.

This Umlazi gangster was Sandile ‘Chillies’ Bhengu, and his death was a true case of ‘those who live by the sword, die by the sword’.
However, Sandile’s neighbour, Philly Zulu, called in after Bongani spoke out about how he was over the hype that township communities make when a gangster dies.

Despite all the negative things said about gangsters and Sandile, Philly insisted that Sandile was a good, kind, and down-to-earth person - and she was very fond of him.
