How to pack your closet properly

Seven ways to make your wardrobe look neat and organised.
A messy wardrobe or closet is common in many households and trying to organise them can be very frustrating.
If you are one of those people who just doesn't know where to begin, take a look at these simple things you can do that will make your wardrobe or closet look amazing.
- Get rid of unworn clothes
Many of us have clothes packed in our wardrobes that haven’t been worn or those that we hardly wear. Not only do these clothes fill up the closet, but they can make it harder for you to clean the closet and find what you want. Look at all your clothes, and give away anything you haven’t worn in months. If you don’t want to give it away, consider selling it at a second-hand clothing store.
- Pack similar clothes together
Place t-shirts, skirts, pants, socks etc in separate drawers or on separate shelves to make your wardrobe or closet more organised.
- Pack away clothes that you only wear in winter
Clothes that you know you are only going to need in winter can be packed away in a suitcase and put away in storage. This will help free up space in your closet.
- Get matching hangers
Matching hangers will make your closet look neat.
- Store your shoes in a shoe organiser
Instead of putting your shoes together with your clothes, invest in a good shoe organiser. This will not only make your closet look neat, it will also help keep your shoes in great condition.
- Pack same colour clothes together
Putting same colour clothes together will make your wardrobe look great and it will be easier to find specific items.
- Tidy up your wardrobe regularly
Remember to also make a habit of tidying up your wardrobe at least once a week, instead of waiting for it to become a mess.
