The average domestic worker in South Africa earns between R2,001 and R3,000 a month - some, sadly, make even less.

Domestic workers employed in bigger homes would earn more, but nothing compared to what rapper Drake pays his cleaning staff a week.

A Clearitwaste.co.uk study says the Grammy Award-winner has the most expensive celebrity home to clean.

Based on their calculations, the 'Toosie Slide' hitmaker likely forks out a hefty £3,000 (around R65, 000) a week to keep his 50,000sq ft Toronto mansion spotless.  That's £160K (R3, 475 985) a year!

Drake's home, which is nicknamed 'The Embassy',  has an indoor basketball court, a basement pool, and a two-story closet.

According to The Sun, Beyoncé’s 30, 000 50,000sq ft Bel Air mansion comes in second with a yearly cleaning bill of £98, 000.

Queen B's home has four outdoor swimming pools, bulletproof floor-to-ceiling glass panels, and a 15-car garage.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's 18,000sq ft mansion in California's posh Montecito suburb also made the top 10. The royals likely spend £58, 000 a year to keep their home spick and span.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have given their fans small glimpses of their home during Zoom calls and interviews.

Billionaire Jeff Bezos' California home would cost him £44, 416 annually to clean, while a mansion the size of Ed Sheeran's Suffolk estate would cost about  £27,000.
