They are popular throughout the world and almost always appear on fast food menus.
Some people prefer them deep fried, while others opt for the healthier option of making them in an air fryer.
If you are looking for the perfect hot chips that are crispy and tasty, then this recipe is for you.
The secret? Corn starch.
Using corn starch to fry food gives them the golden colour and crunchiness.

Let's look at how to make it:
Boil water in a pan.
Add 1/2 tablespoon salt.
Add 1 tablespoon white vinegar.
Add sliced potatoes.
Boil for a couple of minutes.
Leave them to cool off.
Evenly coat the cooled boiled chips with corn starch.
Gently rub and massage.
Heat oil in a pan.
Add the chips.
Deep fry until golden brown.
Add your favourite sauce and enjoy!
