Keri Miller’s yummy almond nut butter recipe

It doesn't get any better than this homemade almond nut butter. Keri's recipe is quick and easy to make.
Almond butter is a favourite in many homes. It's great with toast or in a creamy smoothie.
Buying almond butter off the shelf can cost an arm and a leg as the nuts are quite pricey.
But you can save yourself a few bucks by making your own at home.
East Coast Breakfast co-host Keri Miller shared her personal recipe for us and we have to say it looks yummy!

Here's what you need to make it:
- Almonds
- Himalayan Salt
- Vanilla extract
- Dash of honey
- Cinnamon
- A little flaxseed oil (just to get it a creamier)
Method
Step one
Soak the nuts for a few hours and then roast in the oven for 10 minutes at 170°C.
Step two
Put warm nuts in a blender or food processor.
Step three
Add the rest of the ingredients and continue to blend until you get the desired consistency.
And Voila... almond nut butter!
