The first Saturday in February is international 'Ice-Cream for Breakfast Day', and it is the perfect excuse to indulge in the frozen treat.
Mom of six, Florence Rappaport, is credited with starting the fun holiday.
She tried to keep her kids entertained during a snowy morning in New York during the 1960s by declaring it 'Ice-Cream for Breakfast Day'!
Eating ice-cream with your first meal of the day might sound like a bad thing to do, but a Japanese scientist found that it can make you smarter.
Yoshihiko Koga, a professor at Tokyo Kyorin University, found that it could help improve alertness and your mental performance.
There's even more goodness. Incorporating ice-cream into your breakfast is not as difficult as you might think.

Here are three delicious recipes to try.
French toast, ice-cream, and milk
Make some French chocolate toast in a mug, and top it off with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream to balance the sweetness. You can also add a glass of milk to the mix.

Ice-cream and waffles
Waffles are a favourite for weekend breakfasts, and go well with ice-cream. Top off with fruits instead of chocolate syrup for a healthier version. If you are feeling a bit adventurous, you can even make your own waffle cones.
Nice-cream for vegans
If you are a vegetarian or vegan who does not eat ice-cream because of its dairy content, then you can try making "nice-cream". It looks like ice-cream, but it is a lot healthier and tastes so good!
