The 25th of June 2009 was the day the King of Pop died. Here is how we remember him...
There is no mentioning great, influential musicians of the 1980s without the name Michael Jackson.
The iconic pop star came burst onto the music scene when he was just eight years old with his famous family group, The Jackson 5.
Later on, after acquiring success as a group, Michael went solo and achieved so much that he was named the 'King of Pop'.

According to USA Today, Michael leads the list of male artists with the most chart-topping hits.
He used his influential voice to make a difference in the lives of the less fortunate and established the Heal The World Foundation in 1992.
The 'Thriller' hitmaker was also very active in the fight against HIV/AIDS, hosting shows to raise funds.
Michael Jackson remains one of the most popular celebrities in modern history, even after his death. In 2015, the Recording Industry Association of America announced that MJ's 'Thriller' was officially the first album to ever sell 30-million copies in the United States!

His iconic dance moves, 'moonwalk'' and the 'robot', still dominate social media videos to this day.
