Ever wondered why Friday the 13th is seen as a bad date? Find out why here.

All over the world, people view Friday the 13th as a day of bad luck.
This year is set to even be more spooky with a full moon appearing for the first time in years, reports farmersalmanac.com. The last time there was a full moon on Friday the 13th was in October 2000. Predictions are that the next Full Moon on Friday the 13th won't happen again until 2049.
So, what makes Friday the 13th a day of bad luck?
According to Independent.com, the theory behind Friday the 13th has to do with a guy called Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus Christ. The betrayal happened after the Last Supper which occurred on Maundy Thursday, attended by 13 people - Jesus and his 12 disciples. After the Last Supper, Judas betrayed Jesus and he was crucified on Friday. Judas is associated with the number 13 and seen as imperfect as compared to Jesus and the other eleven disciples.
