Trevor Noah on how he has been dealing with the loss of his grandmother

'The Daily Show' host remembered his grandmother four months after her passing...
Trevor Noah and his grandmother had a very special relationship.
Despite her passing, Trevor continues to keep her legacy alive by sharing some of the greatest memories they shared.
In a recent video posted on Instagram, Trevor spoke about how difficult it has been to grieve.
"Grief is an interesting emotion because it is not sad, it multifaceted," he said in the video.

He said although his grandmother was old, it was still not easy to accept her death.
"We knew we were saying goodbye over the last few years because she is old, she is 95, but you are still never ready for that moment," he said.
He added that although it's been four months since she passed, she remains a part of him.
"She is part of my Daily Show that you can't you can't separate," he said.

He also remembered one of the greatest qualities she had.
'The Daily Show' host said his grandmother always offered a great perspective when they discussed matters.
“She gave me perspective. I think that was something she always did for myself, for my family; she put things into perspective," said Trevor.
He added that her great perspective was a result of the knowledge she gained from living for so many years.
“When you have lived for nine decades," said Trevor, "the perspective you have is a really interesting one."
