Presenters share how they plan to spoil their moms on Mother's Day
Updated | By Justin Paul James
We caught up with a few of our presenters to find out how they plan to spoil the special lady in their lives on Mother's Day.
Mother's Day is being celebrated this year on Sunday, 12th May and its a day dedicated to celebrating the super moms in our lives.
While some may add that every day should be Mother's Day, it is nice that there is one day set aside to commemorate and treat mom for all the times she was there for us.

Since the day is so special, we wanted to find out from our presenters how they plan to spoil their moms on this special day and as you can imagine, the stories and plans were endless.
Read them below:
Jayshree Parasuramen
"As per tradition, Mother's Day is usually spent at my granny's house and my mom with all sisters and family gets together. However, this year I cannot be there, but my thing with my mom is that I do things with her all the time throughout the year. For me, Mother's Day is whenever I get to see my mom. Just this morning I went to visit her and I was greeted with a cup of tea and some toast. Those are the memories that I treasure. Perhaps next week we'll do a post-Mother's Day get together."

"My mom loves getting out and we love to laugh. This year I plan to treat her to an early lunch (I'm not too sure whereabout as yet). She loves a glass of wine (or five) with her favourite meal, and the day will end off with some carrot cake and a bunch of flowers. That for her will be incredible. Life is so short and people should not only be doing this on Mother's Day. Even though Sunday is a special occasion, I try to do this as often as possible."
Jane Linley-Thomas
"The kids are too young to get into a Mother's Day tradition. However, they all arrived home with their cute tokens of love that they made at school. These have been locked away in a cupboard far, far away from my prying eyes. I love anything thoughtful and endearing. For my mom, we are off to the Kloof Country Club for lunch and just to get together and celebrate the day that's going to be filled with love and kindness of course."
Gareth 'G-Dog' Jenkinson
"Now that I'm married, I have two moms to celebrate. Saturday will be spent with Nandi's mom, Michelle. We will have lunch with her in the Midlands, and I'm commentating a Rugby game. On Sunday, we will head to Ballito to spend Mother's Day with my mom, Jo. It's always great to celebrate our moms. I feel we don't give them enough credit for what they've done in our lives."
