Poll: The end of isolation for people with no symptoms - do you agree?

Have your say...
Social media has been buzzing since the government announced the new COVID-19 regulations.
Cabinet has decided to make the following changes to Adjusted Alert Level 1 with immediate effect: · Those who test positive with no symptoms do not have to isolate. · If you test positive with symptoms, the isolation period has been reduced from 10 to 7 days. · Contacts do not have to isolate unless they develop symptoms.- Sacoronavirus.co.za
Following the announcement, many people took to social media to question how safe this new regulation is, with many stating that it does not make sense considering what government had previously stated about the coronavirus pandemic and how it spreads.

But the main question is how many non symptomatic people test for covid?
— Tanya Gomes (@Tgomes86) January 31, 2022
… none so they walking around anyway. Risk is there irrespective
What changed? Is the bacteria now not that harmful? Or maybe there were no scientific proof on isolation time?

Government also announced changes to schools.
Cabinet also reviewed the resumption of schooling to full-time learning in all schools. Primary, secondary and special schools will return to daily attendance. The regulatory provision for social distancing of 1meter for learners in schools has also been removed.- SA coronavirus website
Many South Africans said the new regulations around schools are questionable.

Full capacity classes again, in this climate of schooling and what if this virus resurfaces even stronger. Y'all take things lightly.
The removal of social distancing in schools, why is it specific to schools and not everyone?

What about other gatherings? pic.twitter.com/NRMscp2ErT
Why social distancing as non- pharmaceutical intervention be removed across sectors🤔 Teachers & learners go to malls, gyms, health centres , restaurants. So COVID-19 is no longer transmissible through human contact? Mandatory vaccination is a myth.@DBE_SA @nicd_sa
