Heinz Winckler faces backlash for 'questioning' school's decision on transgender student

The popular musician is involved in a nasty transgender row where he is reportedly not in support of a student who has transformed his sex and now wants to be female.
'Idols SA' singer Heinz Winckler has rubbed many social media users the wrong way after it was reported that he is discriminating against a transgender student.
According to several reports, the popstar-turned-preacher is heading a group of parents questioning a school’s decision to support a transgender pupil.
The school in Somerset West, Western Cape, reportedly embraced the student who wants to be treated as female.
Winckler is reportedly part of a group of parents questioning the school.
As a result of his actions, there is an online petition against the singer.

The petition, which can be found on Change.org, is called ‘Heinz Winckler: Everyone deserves love, stop your hate’.
Some social media users have also taken to Twitter to slam the singer’s behaviour.
