The 250,000ha Maloti-Drakensberg Park World Heritage Site is probably one of the most breathtakingly beautiful and easily accessible mountain ranges in the world! The Maloti-Drakensberg Park is a dynamic wonderland of massive peaks and buttresses, towering sandstone cliffs, deep forested valleys, mountain rivers and streams, and rolling hills and grasslands.
This spectacular natural area contains many rock-shelters and caves with the largest and most concentrated collection of San rock art in Africa south of the Sahara, made by the San people (Bushman) over a period of 4,000 years. It is home to many species of fauna and flora.
A hiker’s and nature lover’s paradise, this mountain range is a wilderness where body and soul may be renewed through connection with nature. From a gentle amble along a self-guided trail or peacefully fishing in a river or dam, these extend to the rigours of rock-climbing or mountain biking for those with a taste for the high adventures of life.

Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife offers some of the best bush experiences to be had in South Africa, with breath-taking scenery and spectacular views of authentic bushveld, deep valleys, high mountains, and plateaus.
The most renowned being the Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park. This Park lies in the heart of the “old Zululand” and is the oldest proclaimed game reserve in Africa - and was once the exclusive royal hunting ground of King Shaka. Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park is a premier ‘big five’ park; home to lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. It’s rich in plant-life, grasslands, and forests, and supports a wealth of other game and bird species. It is home to the famous guided wilderness trails which takes visitors on foot through the 25,000ha iMfolozi wilderness area. Visitors are afforded the opportunity to experience the essence of Africa through a variety of activities which include; guided walks, wilderness trails, game-viewing, bird watching, self-guided auto trails, and morning and afternoon guided game drives.

Ezevemlo KZN Wildlife offers visitors some of the most diverse coastal and marine wildlife and outdoor experiences imaginable. The picturesque Coastal region stretches from Umtamvuna on the south to Kosi Bay in the north bordering Mozambique, and incorporates various smaller inland reserves. Wildlife to be seen includes big game species and an abundance of terrestrial and aquatic bird life and a rich array of marine species. Humpbacked whales can be seen on their northerly migration to Mozambique to calve and in summer, loggerhead and leatherback turtles come to shore to lay their eggs.
Vast stretches of pristine beach offer fantastic opportunities to those who enjoy a long walk with the occasional dip in the ocean to cool off. The Coast is made up of pristine natural ecosystems, comprising swamps, lakes, beaches, coral reefs, wetlands, woodlands, coastal forests, and grasslands - supporting an astounding diversity of animal, bird, and marine life. Sodwana Bay, with its many exciting coral reefs and outstanding tropical climate, has distinguished itself as one of the premier sport diving destinations in the world.
