Billie Eilish reveals her struggle with porn from age 11

Billie Eilish opened up about how her exposure to porn at a young age negatively affected her and destroyed her brain.

Singer and songwriter Billie Eilish has revealed that she was exposed to porn at the mere age of 11. 

The star was a guest on 'The Howard Stern Show' on Sirius XM radio where she opened up about how being exposed to porn affected her mentally.

“I think porn is a disgrace," she said during the interview.

She says she consumed a lot of porn and at the time as she thought it made her "cool".  

"I used to watch a lot of porn, to be honest. I started watching porn when I was, like, 11," she said. 

The 'Ocean Eyes' hitmaker says porn destroyed her brain. 

“I think it really destroyed my brain and I feel incredibly devastated that I was exposed to so much porn,” she added.

The star said as a result of watching porn, she started having nightmares, because some of the content she watched was so violent and abusive.

She added that porn even affected her sex life. 

“The first few times I, you know, had sex, I was not saying no to things that were not good. It was because I thought that’s what I was supposed to be attracted to,” she said.

Negative effects of watching pornography

Reward Foundation reports that consuming a lot of porn can lead to poor mental and emotional health. Other negative effects include: brain fog, social anxiety, depression, negative body image, eating disorders, and flashbacks.
