The best high schools in KZN

These schools have been named the best performing schools in KwaZulu-Natal by the Department of Education.
Picking a school for your child should never be taken lightly.
Parents or guardians need to ensure that they pick a school where their child will be happy and that will offer them the best chance to excel.
With hundreds of high schools available in the province, it might be hard to choose the best one for your child.
So, to help you, we have put together a list of schools in KwaZulu-Natal that have achieved a 100% matric pass rate for the last five years, as provided by the Department of Education.
The Durban girls’ high school is one of the top schools in Durban and has been for several years.
The school has achieved a 100% matric pass rate for the past 23 years.
Last year, its matriculants received 507 subject distinctions which is an average of 2,31 distinctions per learner and a 98.30% Bachelor pass rate.
Menzi High School
Despite the challenges this township school has faced and being poorly resourced, Menzi High School keeps producing a 100% pass rate.
It has managed to achieve a 100% matric pass rate for the past 7 years.
Westville Girls’ High School is ranked among the top public girls’ schools in South Africa. Since 1991 it has been achieving a 100% pass rate. The school has also maintained a Bachelor pass rate of over 95%.
Danville Park Girl’s High School
This school was the top performing public school in South Africa in 2015.
It boasts an excellent academic record with an unbroken 100% matric pass rate for the past 25 years.
