You aren't here to fit in, you're here to stand out, says Dr John Demartini

You aren't here to fit in, you're here to stand out, says Dr John Demartini - who's considered one of the world's leading authorities on human behaviour and personal development. He speaks with 'DrD' Dorianne Weil in this week's Thrive with 'DrD' podcast.
"We have a yearning to want to fit in and stand out at the same time. But the thing is that people who have really made a contribution in transformation in the world were the people who did have the courage to come up with an original idea and go against the grain, to some degree, and get ridiculed - maybe even violently opposed - until their new idea became self-evident and a new paradigm was born," says Demartini*.
"And without those individual 'misfits', as you will, the ones that didn't fit in, we probably would not progress as much. We'd be kind of stagnant in a tradition and convention of an old way. So you need both. You need people that fit in ... but at the same time you have to have somebody that's willing to lead and start original ideas to catalyze change and transformation, to adapt to a changing world."
Listen below as Dr Demartini and 'DrD' discuss this fascinating topic.
