WATCH: Ramaphosa consoles grieving Clermont family
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
President Cyril Ramaphosa is assessing the damage caused by the recent heavy rains in Ntuzuma, north of Durban.
It's his second stop of his visit to our flood-stricken province.
Earlier, he consoled a family in Clermont, west of Durban that lost four members, including three children, in a structural collapse.
The parents of the children said they were between the ages of 10 and 16-year-old
The emotional father said on Monday night when the home collapsed and the structures next to the house collapsed, rescue operations didn't immediately begin and search and rescue personnel couldn't get to the location.

He said on Tuesday neighbours managed to pull out the bodies of the three children and one adult. The father says during the incident he was in the house but he managed to get out.
Ramaphosa did speak to the parents before addressing the community members.
