WATCH: Ramaphosa begins visit to flood and landslide-stricken areas in KZN

President
Cyril Ramaphosa has begun his visit of flood and landslide-stricken areas with
a stop in Clermont, west of Durban.

There, he met with the Sokhela family that has lost four family members, including three children following a structural collapse on Monday night.
The president has been greeted by dozens of community members as he goes about seeing the damage first-hand.
He was earlier briefed by Premier Sihle Zikalala on the extent of the flood damage and the government's relief efforts so far.

A state of disaster's been declared in KZN after days of heavy rain wreaked havoc in parts of the province.
At least 59 people lost their lives in the province - 45 of them in eThekwini.
