KZN rains: Four injured in KwaDukuza house collapse

Four people, including two children, have been hurt in the iLembe District after their house collapsed due to the ongoing heavy rains.
Robert Mckenzie who's with KZN EMS says paramedics responded to an incident where a house had collapsed in KwaDukuza, on the north coast.
"Paramedics treated four patients - two adults and two children. The house that had collapsed is believed to be a four-bedroom informal dwelling," he said.

Mckenzie says motorists should exercise extra caution on the roads.
Newcastle and parts of the Drakensberg are among the areas that have been affected by heavy rains overnight.
The SA Weather Service's Julius Mahlangu says heavy showers will continue today.

"We are expecting 60 to 80% chances of rainfall. It's mostly showers and not thunderstorms. There is a warning that is out for heavy rainfall especially for places along the KZN coast and places adjacent to the coast," he said.
