UPDATE: One-month-old baby abducted in Durban hijacking
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
Police say there's no new information yet on a car that was hijacked in Durban earlier - with an infant inside.
LISTEN to the 3pm bulletin below.
It was initially believed that the white Toyota Yaris was taken from the City View Shopping Centre - the old Game City in Durban Central. However, centre management have confirmed that the incident took place in the vicinity of First Avenue and Stamford Hill Road - and not on the mall's premises.
The police's Thulani Zwane says two suspects accosted a mother - before driving off with her vehicle.
"It is alleged that the mother was walking with her two children - a one-month-old, and an eight-year old to her car in the parking, when she was approached by two suspects who allegedly hijacked her of her car, and fled with the one-month-old child," he said.

Zwane says that the child and vehicle are still missing, with police searching for both.
He's urged anyone with information to contact any local SAPS for assistance.
The car's registration number is ND 576 648.
