Planning on travelling this holiday? Here are some travel tips
Updated | By Damon Beard
For some of us, it’s holiday time, so I thought I’d throw in some useful holiday tips to make your time off a little more hassle free.
1) Do your homework on the destination.
2) Make sure you have a valid passport, all the vaccinations, and visas you need.
3) Be safe and secure at all times.
4) Roll your clothes - folding your clothes when packing is a rookie mistake. You can pack way more stuff if you start rolling them instead.
5) Store socks and underwear inside your shoes to make more space.
6) Take a pen so you can fill out customs declaration forms before you land and you don’t have to ask the flight attendant for his / hers.
7) Take an international adaptor with you.
8) Toilet paper is not a given in many parts of the world so take along those little packs of tissues if you think you could be heading for a destination that’s questionable.
9) Watch your drinking! You get way more drunk at 30,000 feet than when you are on the ground.
10) Respect customs, immigration, and border control agents.
Enjoy your trip!
