Carole King has over 100 Billboard hits and her
songs have influenced lives over many generations. East Coast Gold celebrates the life of this
remarkable artist with her biggest hits.
Carol King is a phenomenal artist. She is one of the world's most acclaimed songwriters.
King has written and co-written more than 400 songs that have been recorded by more than 1,000 artists including Aretha Franklin, Mariah Carey, Diana Ross, Barbra Streisand, Amy Winehouse, Dusty Springfield, Neil Diamond and James Taylor.
Her music has seen her receiving many awards, including four Grammys.
She has also been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, and the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame.
King has recorded 25 solo albums and sold more than 75-million copies worldwide.
Her album 'Tapestry' which was released in 1971 stayed at #1 on the Billboard Charts for 15 weeks.
The singer turns 79 on Tuesday, 9 February 2021, and what better way to celebrate her life than through music?
