The legendary James Taylor turns 74 this week. He was born on 12 March 1948. Taylor has enjoyed a successful music career for over five decades.
'You've Got A Friend' is one of the songs from the star which gained global success.
Taylor was the first artist signed to Apple Records by The Beatles after impressing them.

Taylor records and produces his own albums. He has a studio in his own home.
The star is a six-time Grammy Award winner with 29 albums to his name.
One of the highlights of his career is that he became the first artist to earn a top 10 album in each of the last six decades on the Billboards charts.
He's been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
In 1972, he won the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Performance, Male, for ‘You've Got a Friend’.
