In 2024, hundreds of humans and their furry friends took part in the 1,000 Paws Walk for the SPCA.

The 1,000 Paws Walk for SPCAs is back for its 16th year, and this time, it's bigger and better than ever!

You can join hundreds of animal-lovers, walkers, families and their furry friends for a day of adventure and fundraising for a great cause.

According to Good Things Guy, the event will be held on Sunday, June 1, at the beautiful Highgate Wine Estate in the KZN Midlands.

Choose from two pet-friendly routes, enjoy dog-focused arena events, stalls, good food, and live music.

Last year, 581 people, 332 dogs, and even a cat showed up.

Can you top that this year?

Funds raised will be shared equally between three SPCA branches in the KZN Midlands, supporting animal welfare in the region.

Even if the weather doesn't cooperate, the raffle, school collection-tin competition and corporate support ensure a significant fundraiser for the SPCA.

Mark your calendars for June 1, 2025 and join the SPCA for a fun-filled day.
