The Pavilion presents the Durban Street Food Festival
Updated | By Udesha Moodley-Judhoo
It's time to enjoy the many foods that represent our South African heritage, coupled with entertainment for the entire family.
There's nothing better than food to bring people together.
And what better way to celebrate Heritage Day than by visiting the Durban Street Food Festival?
We have been given a long weekend this year since Heritage Day/Braai Day falls on a Sunday. This means that we have an extra day of fun with the family.
Durban's biggest food festival is here to celebrate food, people, entertainment, and more food.
The annual fun-filled event takes place at The Pavilion Shopping Mall from the 22nd to the 25th of September 2023.
"This festival is a celebration of Durban's diverse food culture, bringing together food enthusiasts from all over the city. It takes place over a four-day period and features an impressive lineup of food vendors, live music performances, and fun activities for the whole family." (Quicket)

Live entertainment is planned for the entire weekend and there is even a dedicated kids' zone. Kids can participate in activities such as face painting, paintball, balloon twisting, and more.
Artists like JCue, DJ Rich Aunti, Wah Wah Baby, Groovechild, and Tarriq Sewps, to name a few will be entertaining the crowds.
You can get your tickets at Quicket at a discounted rate or you can purchase them at the entrance.
And good news for parents with kids under the age of 12 years, they get in for free.
