Updated | By East Coast Radio
Durban pastry chef, Oumesh, is bringing everything sweet and nice to the Oceans Mall this weekend.
As everyone gets into the Easter festivities, it is safe to say that the holiday mood is here.
With the kids off from school and much to do around KZN, we are happy to add to that agenda. A wonderfully sweet festival will be happening at Oceans Mall, Umhlanga.
We had the chance to speak with one of the vendors who will be launching his recipe book at the Durban Dessert Festival, Oumesh Ramchet, known as Durban's Man With A Plan.
Check out the ticket price information below, courtesy of Instagram.
Oumesh, Durban's Man With A Plan has been part of the hospitality industry for over 20 years. He will be launching his first recipe book at the Durban Dessert Festival this year.
He is not only excited to share his wonderfully crafted recipes with everyone, but he is also excited to share his passion.
His book is called, 'Sweet Tart'. The name is a play on the word 'Sweet Heart' and is filled with recipes on how to make decadent patisserie items such as compòtes and coulis, step-by-step baking instructions on the perfect partèe sucre and sablee (sweet pastry crusts), and reveals tips and techniques when working with pastry.
