Fable - 'Babylonstoren vibes but in the Midlands'
Updated | By East Coast Radio
Fable has all the charm of the Midlands with the Instagram-worthy vibes of Babylonstoren...
The KwaZulu-Natal Midlands is known for its picturesque views, cosy accommodation, and friendly locals.
If you are looking for another reason to visit this popular destination, we have just the place for you.
Midlands Fable, located on Curry's Post Road, is the perfect casual dining spot for people looking for views that will take their breath away.
"Our simple Menu reflects things we like to eat and we hope you do too. With colours that reflect our gardens and tastes of the changing seasons, we want our customers to feel at home and feel spoilt at the same time," the eatery says on its website.
Fable's menu has delicious selections for the whole family. Their breakfast options include Chai French toast served with mascarpone, figs, bacon, syrup, and orange and lime zest.
The peri-peri chicken livers flambeed in brandy will surely make your tastebuds dance in delight.
The lunch menu is equally tantalising. Vegetarians and vegans alike will love the 'Loaded Buddha Bowl'. It is made with roast cauliflower herbed rice, fresh avocado, cumin toasted chickpeas, grilled sesame pok choi, and fresh picante pepper.
The mild coconut-based red curry is another good option for vegan foodies. Kids under 12 can enjoy a tasty breakfast and lunch selection.
From 'Egg & Soldiers' to 'Buttery Pikelets' pancakes served with bacon, blueberries, and fried banana for breakfast - the kiddos will lick their plates clean.
A new play area was recently introduced. It is right next to the eatery.
