On a budget? Here's where you can find affordable fast food in KZN

The Rand is low, but that doesn't mean you can't continue to eat what you love.
There is nothing worse than wishing for something delicious to eat but not having enough money to buy it.
However, just because you don't have the "Randelas" to splurge on a meal at your favourite restaurant, doesn't mean you can't afford good food at affordable prices.
We're taking a look at five places where you can find affordable fast food in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN).

Afro's Chicken (nine locations in KZN)
From wraps as low as R45 to breakfast options as cheap as R35, Afro's Chicken has something that is the perfect place for anyone on a budget.
The chicken shop started out as a food truck and now has several locations in KZN. You can find them in Durban North, Hillcrest, New Germany, Westville, Umgeni, Morningside, and Umhlanga. Their shops in Overport and the Pavilion Shopping Centre are Halaal.

Fatty Fingers (Durban)
Ask any student in Durban, what's their go-to place for cheap fast food and they will likely say Fatty Fingers aka Mr. Vetkoek. Their menu includes African foods such as steamed bread (Jeqe), chakalaka, vetkoeks, the famous kota/spatlo, hot chips, and russian sausages.
They have locations at DUT and Umbilo. Their Umbilo Road brand is also available on Uber Eats.

Tiagos (Port Edward)
Tiagos on the South Coast has been flame-grilling chicken for nearly 30 years. Their family-friendly meals are a big hit with Port Edward locals and not just because of the daily specials. The eatery's 'breakfast on the go', which has options that start from as little as R21.90, includes a low carb meal and tasty chicken schwarma. There are also vegetarian options and mouthwatering combo deals.
Tiagos has branches in Kokstad, Durban North, Amanzimtoti, Port Sheptsone, Margate, Shelly Beach and more.

Captain Fine's Fish Factory (Ballito)
Fish lovers, this one's for you. Captain Fine's Fish Factory has been described as "theeeee best fish and chips in Ballito". "The best seafood I had in a long time, Dorado and Chips, Hake and Chips and Calamari and Chips are to die for," one TripAdvisor reviewer wrote.
The eatery's traditional fish and chips is a must-try.

Lilly's Bread Bin (Margate)
Freshly baked rolls and pies, bunny chows and milk tart donuts - say no more! Lilly's Bread Bin in Margate means business when it comes to affordable food prices. You can get a ham or cheese salad roll for as little as R25, calamari rolls R55 and giant burgers and chips for R80.
