The singer told the crowd that he feels empathy for all who are affected by the fighting in Palestine.

“I’m sure many of you, like me, live on the brink of tears. We live on that uncomfortable edge, on the brink of tears because we feel empathy for our brothers and sisters in Gaza and the other occupied territories in Palestine,” Roger Waters, told the crowd, according to The Palestine Chronicle.

He added that empathy is a gift.

“Empathy, what a precious gift empathy is,” Waters said.

The 81-year-old, who is also a human rights activist, dedicated his 70s hit, 'Wish You Were Here', to Palestine.

“People sometimes think ‘Wish You Were Here’ is a lament for a dead childhood friend of mine. Guess what? Sometimes it is, but not tonight. Tonight is for Palestine. Tonight, my song, ‘Wish You Were Here’ is about choices," he said.

The legendary singer-songwriter and composer urged people to vote for the right government.

“You will have the opportunity to cast your vote to make a choice. You can choose heaven or hell,” he told the crowd.

He shared a short video of the show on his YouTube page on Tuesday, 25 June. Below is the video.
