What have we learnt since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic?
If the pandemic and the last (almost) 2 years has shown us two important things; just how fragile the state not only of our planet's tenuous grasp on balance is and our physical health’s need for care and attention.
However, it's also shown us a bit more than that.
Covid-19 has highlighted the many shortcomings of our society from a psychological and mental health perspective - which goes beyond purely staying healthy physically.

So, with this in mind, I went searching for ways to make the world a better place.
Of course, this started in a grandiose manner; you know what I mean, right? End world hunger, eliminate poverty, search for equality, and find a cure to deadly diseases.
Sadly, the magnitude of this all made me powerless and unable to bring about meaningful change, so I decided to try something closer to home and well start small.
That's when I came across this list entitled, Little ways to make the world around you a better place!

So here goes, how do we make the world a little better in little ways every day?
Here are 10 tips on how to make the world a better place:
- Turn off the lights when you leave a room
- Find a dog. Hug it
- Put your phone away when having dinner with friends
- If you can, go and give blood
- Pass on your favorite book to someone
- Spend an evening baking. And take the results into work
- Pick some litter up off the street and put it in the trash
- Talk less, listen more
- Support independent businesses
- Give stuff away that you don’t use
