The 1960s saw the rise of one of the biggest pop stars ever, Cilla Black.
The young girl from Liverpool rose to international stardom after releasing hits such as 'Anyone Who Had a Heart' and 'You're My World'.
The star was born on 27 May 1943 and died on 1 August 2015. She had a successful career as a musician and television presenter.
Black loved music from an early age and started quite young. One of her performance at a local club even impressed The Beatles band members.
She met her husband Bobby Willis while working as a waitress at a coffee lounge and she had four children.
Black signed her first contract with Terry McCann.
McCann was her neighbour and long term friend. But, sadly didn't release any album under the label.
Her debut album, 'Cilla', was released in 1956. It had 12 songs and was well received. It reached number five on the UK album charts.
Her second album also performed well on the charts, reaching #4.
'The Very Best Of Cilla Black' was the last album from the star and it was released in 2013. It became her first number one album on the UK album charts.
Black died from a stroke at the age of 72.
