Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band Bon Jovi have new music out.

The legendary band's album, 'Forever', came out on June 7.

So far the reception has been so good that over the weekend, the band thanked BBC Radio 2 for making ‘Forever’ its Album of the Week.

The Grammy Award-winning band took to social media to explain the inspiration behind the songs.

“If you ever wonder where the inspiration comes from, let me ruin it for you,” Jon Bon Jovi, who is the lead vocalist, said in a video posted on Facebook.

“I rolled out of bed, in the middle of the night, a notebook by the side of the bed, I’m laying on the floor with a pen, piece of paper and I write verbatim the entire first verse," he said.

The singer added how his wife and friend Billy Falconer helped.
