Darren Maule likes to start off his work week on a Monday. "Then your body just thinks it was a VERY long weekend," shares Darren.
- Sky Tshabalala
Wednesdays are good for Sky because it’s long enough to feel like you did something, but short enough not to outdo yourself on the first week back.
- Carmen Reddy
Thursdays are the best, because then as soon as you get tired, it’s Friday again.
After much debate, the online consensus is that Friday is the best day.
Firstly, let’s face it... no one operates at peak performance right after a trip. You’re tired from travel and swamped with a backlog of emails. Friday’s slower office pace offers ample time to catch up on correspondence, reconnect with colleagues, and maybe sneak a moment of relaxation to scroll your phone in peace.

Fridays often boast office perks like free food, what better way to ease back into work life?
Travelling in the middle of the week can often be cheaper so coming back on a Friday can help when travelling on a budget.
