WhatsApp all set to introduce four new update

WhatsApp's latest update looks interesting...
The popular communication application will be going through another set of changes soon.
As you you know, like any product in the modern era, changes are needed to keep with the times and ahead of the competition.

According to WABetaInfo, these changes will include reporting of statuses, changing the search bar functionality, editing messages, and scheduling group calls.

Beta testing will allow users to try out the new features before they are officially released.
Here's a look at some of the new features users can expect:
Schedule group call
WhatsApp will now trial a feature that allows you to schedule group calls, like how Zoom or even Google Meet does it.
According to WABetaInfo, this new ability is still under development and will only be released in a future update of the app.
Search bar update
For those users who struggle to navigate through WhatsApp settings, iOS users can soon expect a search bar.

"This would be a featured design to help users easily navigate through the app settings by allowing them to search for specific settings instead of having to scroll through the list," says WABetaInfo.
Edit messages
People will be able to now edit messages after they have sent them.
Honestly, this could really be a game changer for a lot of people.

This feature will allow users up to 15 minutes to edit their messages in order to fix any mistake or include additional information.
Report status update
The last of the updates will be the ability to report statuses.
The new feature would encourage statuses to remain in line with the app’s terms of service.

By alerting the company’s moderation team, they will determine if it should remain on the app or not.
