According to IOL, a rather strange incident involving a school learner and a taxi driver took place on Monday...
It is alleged that the girl, instead of paying for the normal taxi fare, ended up paying by using her underwear.

In the video (which is in isiZulu), the taxi driver was just as shocked and confused as all those who witnessed it.
"Guys, here’s a panty I was paid with by my sister on Field (Street), when getting off the vehicle. What hurts is that it’s a pupil", says the taxi driver, who is unnamed.
The driver continues to ponder about what just happened.
"I don’t know what she is trying to say or do by doing this. I really don’t know. I was left confused."
As the video went viral, people had some serious questions.

Speaking about the incident was Sifiso Shangase, who is the manager for the South African National Taxi Council (Santaco) provincial office.
The manager was also left confused and alerted that there could be a reason as to why the pupil allegedly did what she did.
"Maybe the pupil knows the driver as a ladies man and was trying to send a message," says Shangase.
