'Kat and the Kings' musical to make its way to Kearsney College.

David Kramer and Taliep Petersen’s multi-award-winning hit musical, 'Kat and the Kings', has never before been produced by a school or amateur theatre company.

Kearsney College Choir - or as they refer to themselves as the Kearsney Cast, visited East Coast Radio House on Wednesday morning to talk to both Darren Maule and Sky Tshabalala.

The group consists of the boys of Kearsney College and one Westville Girls High School learner.

Bernard Kruger, Kearsney’s director of music, spoke to the Breakfast team.

For the last part of the interview, the real stars of the show displayed their extreme talent. 

The cast includes: Mohau Tladi (Young Kat Diamond) – ex Drakensberg Boys’ Choir, Sethu Magubane (Kat Diamond),  Khwezi Msimang (Bingo) – ex Drakensberg Boys’ Choir, Tjama Keta (Ballie) – ex Drakensberg Boys’ Choir, Mpande Luhlongwane (Magoo), and Nkanyezi Kunene (Lucy Dixon).
