Darren Maule and Joey Rasdien have known each other for many years and have worked together through the engaging and stress-relieving art of comedy.
So it is no wonder that the two decided to have a casual yet insightful chat about the good old days, fatherhood, politics, religion, and Rasdien's hilarious and thought-provoking new virtual show - 'A New Normal'.

As previously mentioned, Rasdien does not shy away from speaking his mind, even if it may be received as controversial to the public. Darren took him back to one of his most controversial moments on stage, which was in 2017 when he made a joke about religion - an area many comedians have learnt to tread carefully around.
When Darren asked what his thoughts around the backlash were, Rasdien said: "I think that is cognitive dissonance, hey. Because nobody wants to hear that what they believe in might not be the truth."
