The footage being shared on social media of Storm Eunice is crazy!
On Friday, ECR Newswatch reported that Britain put the army on standby on Thursday and schools prepared to close as forecasters issued a rare "red weather" warning of "danger to life" from fearsome winds and flooding due to an approaching storm.
The storm had already killed nine people in Europe on Friday, pummelling Britain with record-breaking winds and forcing millions to take shelter as it disrupted flights, trains and ferries across Western Europe.

Over the weekend, social media users took to various platforms to share some of the devastating effects of the storm.
Some have also taken some time to see the funny side of the storm on people in public - none of them of injuries.

Storm Eunice is the worst storm to hit the UK in three decades.
In February 2022, Cyclone Batsirai caused havoc and tragedy in Madagascar.

In late 2021, Canada was also struck by severe floods.
Officials said downpours in British Columbia trapped motorists in mudslides, forced thousands of people to flee their homes, and cut off Vancouver and its port.

Closer to home, South African provinces have also been hit by severe and unexpected flooding and storms throughout the country.
The most recent flooding took place in Ladysmith (KZN), where families lost their homes and school had to close due to the severe flooding.
In Gauteng, Germiston was devastated by overnight flooding, which caused severe damage to malls and town infrastructure.
In the Cape, George was also hit by severe flooding.

It's definiteoly time to really stand up and take notice of climate change and how we can do somethign about it whilst we're still here.
