But we always hope to at least make it out alive from any crime scene...

This was fortunately the case for a Durban motorist who was on his way back to his parked car in Marianhill.
The incident took place on Tuesday, with a CCTV camera from a nearby business in Sydenham catching all the action.
The unsuspecting man is shocked by a group of armed men as he approaches his car.

The criminals confront the victim and a short tussle happens before they unfortunately overpower him and flee the scene with his car.
On the bright side, the police were able to recover the vehicle a few hours later.
That's a combination you appreciate - no scars and vehicle back in his possession!
Police spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Nqobile Gwala shared: "The vehicle was located on Shaya Road at South Mead in Mariannhill."
