World Record! Real-life Rapunzel does it again
She's done it again! Nilanshi Patel has been entered into the Guinness Book of Records as the teenager with the longest hair.
Taking the prize with her 1.9m hair, Nilanshi enters the Guinness Book of Record for the third time. The seventeen-year-old spends a whole hour brushing her hair and goes through a rigorous process to keep the hair healthy.
She is now hoping to get the longest hair prize in the adult category.
Initially, we brought you the story of her win when her hair was 5 feet, 7 inches (1.7m) long. It was said to be the longest hair on a teen in the world and that was when she was sixteen.
Nilanshi's hair journey began with a bad haircut when she was six and she vowed never to cut her hair again. Fast forward 11 years and she's the hair champion of the world.
