#OutlawTheStraw: East Coast Breakfast attempts to save the oceans
Updated | By East Coast Breakfast
The 8th of June marked World Oceans Day, and we couldn't just let that slide without making a tangible difference.

Listen as we chat to Jone Porter, Director of Education at uShaka, about the dangers of plastic in our oceans below, or read the details under the podcast.
Disposable straws are usually made from plastic, and plastic never breaks down. As time goes by, plastic will separate into smaller and smaller pieces, but never completely biodegrades. Thus having a negative impact not only our ocean but our entire environment.
