How does the law truly work with trespassing?

A viral video on TikTok has been doing the rounds in South Africa about the a new trespassing law.
According to Business Tech, the Department of Justice and Correctional Services has had to publish the draft of Unlawful Entering on Premises Bill for public comment.

The new bill aims to replace these old laws and reintroduce regulations prohibiting unlawful entry to premises.
The video shows a woman explaining the new laws.
To be clear, it is a crime to trespass on someone's property.

If someone is found guilty of trespassing, they could either face a fine, two years in prison, or both.
