#LifeHacksByKeri: How to erase those permanent marker mistakes
Updated | By Keri Miller
Ever written something silly on a whiteboard as a joke only to find yourself in a panic after realising you used permanent marker? Well, Keri has got just the thing for you in this week's #LifeHacksByKeri.
These things happen, just count your blessings that you have Keri Miller in your life...
This lifehack will save you a lot of unnecessary stress.
What you will need:
- A permanent marker mishap
- A dry marker eraser (whiteboard marker)
What you need to do:
Just write over the permanent marker with your whiteboard marker and wipe off. Easy peasy! Yup! That's it. Simple, right?
Check out the video below as I attempt to put this hack to the test:
How does it work?
Most of the whiteboard markers contain a solvent-like 2-butoxyethanol. This solvent dissolves the permanent ink and mixes it with the whiteboard ink, leaving a dark dust that doesn't stick to the board. Genius!
Try it out for yourself and let me know if it worked for you!
Feel free to share your hacks with Keri on her Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
