With many travel destinations opening up, working on an island would be a cool breeze!
Since the pandemic hit, more and more businesses have adopted the whole working remotely vibe.
Even when the restrictions were dropped in South Africa, some companies kept their employees at home.
Imagine taking your work all the way to a nice tropical island?
However, you must be savvy with your choice.
According to Indonesian law, anyone who stays in the country for 183 days over a 12-month period would be seen as legally considered for tax - so that is something to remember.

Countries are also experimenting with programmes designed to attract longer-term travellers.
Thailand is one such destination which has been experimenting with programmes of that ilk.
