Resident Avi Pillay revealed that they have formed a community group. The group is called Glen Anil Precinct, and its main function is to help clean up the area, as well as report any criminal activity happening in the area.
We want to look after the area and our green spaces so that our community can enjoy them and feel safe in them.- Avi Pillay
Another Glen Anil resident, Nathanael Naicker, said the sheer amount of items being dumped is a clear suggestion that companies were also involved in illegal dumping.
