The trial of alleged unrest accused Bonginkosi Khanyile has been set for August. Khanyile faces a charge of incitement to commit public violence, as well charges of Contravention of the Disaster Management Act relating to the acts of looting and violence in KwaZulu-Natal in July 2021.

Cricket SA confirmed that Graeme Smith's director of cricket job will be advertised. He must reapply for his position when his contract concludes at the end of March.

A 55-year-old man was admitted to hospital after his aircraft crashed in Merrivale in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands on Tuesday morning. Roland Robertson of the Midlands EMS said paramedics found the plane that had crashed into a maize field with the pilot lying next to the wreckage.

A virtual version of the handwritten notes for the song 'Hey Jude' has been sold at auction in California for almost $77,000. Note, this is not the actual handwritten note, it's an NFT.
Originally entitled, 'Hey Jules', the Fab Four's hit was written in 1968 by Paul McCartney to comfort a young Julian Lennon during father John's separation from his mother, Cynthia.

This has been going on for YEARS! In a victory judgment for 'Please Call Me (PCM)' inventor Nkosana Makate, the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria found he was short-charged by Vodacom’s R47-million offer and that the cellphone giant must go back to the drawing board to come up with a suitable amount.
