East Coast Breakfast dominates and wins big at #CelebChefShowdown 2017
It was stiff competition, but in the end, it was our very own Breakfast Team who managed to clinch the title as winners of Gateway's Celeb Chef Showdown 2017.
Over the past six weeks, big-name celebrities have battled it out against each other in aid of charity at the 2017 edition of Celeb Chef Showdown, which takes place annually at the Gateway Theatre of Shopping.
The competition started in week one when Darren, Keri, and Sky took on the boys from our very own Drive Team. They won round one and they have done it again - winning the overall competition and title of '2017 winners of #CelebChefShowdown'.

The finale, which took place at Beluga, saw the finalists having to pull out all the stops to impress the judges. The finalists included the likes of Kriya Govender, Ben Voss, Kyle Deutsch, and Dawn King. However, it was our Breakfast Team who managed to win the hearts of the judges and those who attended.
Not only did they win bragging rights for the rest of 2017, but also managed to raise a whopping R30,000 for East Coast Radio's Toy Story with Game. It was a memorable night that never will be forgotten.
